Does This Size Sound Right For A Bearded Dragon?
We have a bearded dragon that’s nearly 6months old (about 1week off we think) and he measures approximately 9-10inches long head to tip of tail. He eats a mix of crickets/locusts (much prefers locusts) not loads though maybe 4 mediums a day and we give him a mix of carrots, dandelion leaves, spring (collard) greens etc daily. He’s active and looks well but he just looks a lot smaller than the 4month old bearded dragons in the reptile shop we go to for our food.
Just to add he only has about 4 crickets/locust as thats all he will eat if I give him more he leaves them
One of mine is about half or even one-third the size of her sibling. He may just be a runt. That’s what I’m guessing mine is.

He is sorta small. If you want him bigger just give him bigger meals. He also might be a special off breed of the bearded dragon which makes him smaller.

It’s alright to have some doubt, we are human and are allowed to think through our faith!
Doubt can actually make faith stronger as God shows up in little instances and reveals himself in your life.
Just stay in a constant relationship with him. Keep God on your mind, you know…tell him you liked the moonlight on the water as you drive by…stuff like that!
Focused prayer a few times a day helps us to wrap our minds around believing in God. As we ask him to send his Holy Spirit to help govern our consciousness, we begin to see God reveal himself in our life at various times of the day! The Holy Spirit reminds us not to be a turd right back and race the other person to the spot closet to the store, stuff like that.
We have to take it at face value to understand the story of God and man’s disobedience.
Look, If God can create the Earth, he can make a guy survive in the belly of whale.
There is no doubt that in my life, my spiritual connection with God has healed a learning disability, no doubt about it!
Biblical claim is the inspired, written story of God.

When I attended Catholic highschool one of the teachers claimed that MOST of the stories in the Bible were just that, stories, used by people to illustrate God’s points about how we should live and what our lives meant. I found that interesting because having been raised in a fundamentalist Christian household I had not realized that it was possible to be Christian and not believe the Bible verbatim. I became aware at that moment of several differential thoughts on the "concreteness" of Biblical stories within the Christian faith. Even though I’m no longer Christian, I find the whole thing interesting.

A Christian by sole virtue of his professed faith, does not support Genesis as anything but absolute truth despite the fact that the time-frame of the creation was indeed relative.
I, however, believe it a myth. The whole Bible being a mythological, historical and astrological collection of wise anecdotes.

How much is too much Kombucha?
I started drinking kombucha about a month ago. I quit smoking and was coughing a lot. It really helped me. I started buying GT’s raw kombucha by the case and would average about 32 oz a day.
I am currently learning how to brew my own but this far I have strictly drank GT’s. I felt really good and like my immune system was really strong. Then Saturday night, I got serious sinus problems and it has lingered through the last few days. I don’t have a history of allergies and it’s not a sinus infection (no fever or discoloration). I have serious pressure, I sneeze a lot and I’ve gone through two boxes of kleenex. Also, today when I was blowing my nose I got dizzy.
I was wondering if the kombucha and the sudden sinus problem could be related. I know kombucha is an immune system boost but is it possible that too much can actually be causing these issues?
I also think the last week or so I have neglected to drink a reasonable amount of water. I usually drink a ton of water at work but I have been slammed and actually forgot to last week (i know it’s a lame excuse but it’s true)

Does my girlfriend want to dump me?
My girlfriend and I have been together for almost 5 year in about 13 days. Lately she hasn’t be happy about anything that I do. She doesn’t eat my cooking, on the weekends when I am home she wakes up and doesn’t eat until 1 or 2 pm. She wont make me breakfast ever, I made her breakfast in bed and she didn’t eat it. She says she wont make me breakfast because she doesn’t eat breakfast. She is always yelling at me, and when I ask her what is wrong she cant tell me without yelling at me and crying.
I feel like she wants to dump me, but she doesn’t want say it. Even her dog has been acting strange, the dog wont come around me, when I give dog a command it doesn’t listen. My girlfriend wont talk to me, and when she does shes taking shots at me. She recently just quit smoking pot after 17 years, I told her that she should consider stopping, she lost her job 2 years ago, and she hasn’t tried to get a new job since, all she was doing was sitting at home watching tv eating and complaining about how bored she was. Since then shes turned down 6 job offers…because she wasn’t sure if she wanted the job. She has repeatedly told me its my fault that shes not happy because she cant go out and smoke weed with her friends. Everyday shes increasingly worse and mean to me. She even went out a week ago, and stayed at a hotel because she said she needed space. Did I do something wrong?
Funny enough that none of her friends she used to smoke with call her anymore because shes not smoking. She wants to have kids, but she doesn’t want stop smoking pot….I love her and I want good things for her, but lately its like I’ve become her punching bag. She stays at home all day while I work. Occasionally what she calls is a slip and she goes to get high. She said she isn’t sure she should have stopped smoking weed because she doesn’t think that I’m worth it. Is she getting ready to cut me lose?

I dont know if she is getting ready to cut you loose, but I know you need to be getting ready to cut her loose! I understand and get that you love her..and Love is such a powerful thing. When in love we tend to be viewing life in rose colored glasses..and not actually seeing the bigger picture for what it is….She must help herself before you can help her and even though you’ve tried! It’s time to apply some tough love….Once your gone, trust she will miss you..and maybe that is what’s it going to take for her to straightn up….You seem like awesome person and an awesome person derserves to be with someone on there level! Sounds as though she is just depressed and you can only sane someone that wants to be saved!

I think she’s feeling like you were the cause of her losing her "friends" and is thus venting her anger on you . .. .. .
what I would suggest you do is bring her out more often; let her meet new people, take up a healthy hobby, etc.
I don’t think she actually really wants to end this - she’s probably just feeling lousy about herself and projecting on you

Miro, a teen from Sarajevo, lives near King’s Cross with his mother; he’s nimble, able to run across roofs, so his uncle hires him to break into office skylights, so the uncle can boost computers. Twice they steal from Will’s architectural firm, so Will stakes it out at night. He follows Miro home and returns the next day and meets Miro’s mother, Amira. At home, Will’s relationship with Liv is strained - he feels outside Liv and her daughter Bea’s circle. The stakeout and Amira’s vulnerability are attractive alternatives to being at home. well i wouldnt say its a bad deck, but it isnt good either, and you have a banned card (crush card and monster reborn). this deck is slow and would get trampled on easily by bw’s, ls, and gbs.

there is no point to the deck, there is lots of useless cards like soul tiger and that. banned and all. you have lots of unnecessary random normal monsters with 1900 atk like gemini elf, gb beast andal, insect knight etc. you got way too many traps, your opponent will laugh if you summon jinzo. there no theme and its terrible. i suggest buying a complete structure deck 3 times and make a proper deck by buying boosters.

There doesn’t seem to be a real point to this deck. You mostly have a random collection of cards that don’t really work together.
Firstly, if you’re using Jinzo (a) you need three, and (b), you want few, if any, traps. Secondly, try and keep your deck as close to 40 cards as possible, to increase the chances of getting what you need. Thirdly, normal monsters aren’t usually very good, although you have at least got the more powerful ones. They can be used though, especially if they’re the focus of the deck - they have a number of support cards which only work for them, like Heart of the Underdog. Fourth, you have several banned cards here, so you can’t use it in tournaments. Check the banlist on the official website.
What you seem to be going at here is a beatdown deck, simply overpowering your opponent’s monsters with yours. If you are, you still need to know how you’re going about it. Which monsters will you use? How do you get them?
Once you have a plan, look at each card and see how it helps - if it doesn’t, take it out. You want about half your deck monsters and the rest spell and trap cards in a 2:1 ratio. You’ll probably find you have more than one card you want in a slot. In this case, try a few games with each and see which helps you more.
As a tournament deck, though, this won’t work. Ignoring the banned cards, it’s simply not competitive. Right now the top decks are Lightsworns, Blackwings and Zombies, of which the latter is probably the easiest and cheapest to start, thanks to the structure deck.

Is my former college advisor shy or does she think I'm a wierdo? (very long story)?
Do you think it’s a good idea to be friends with your college advisor?
I remember last year, when I met my advisor, I thought she was really cute. So when I picked my classes in her office, I told her she was pretty and she kinf of giggled and said, "Thanks!"
So anyway, she happened to be Black. So I started emailing her because I thought she seemed cool. Her and I conversed back and forth and she would reply to my emails.
I remember I actually talked to her once about interracial dating and I vented to her about my mother. I told her that mother doesn’t approve of it. I DON"T KNOW WHY I brought it up with my advisor. It was probably because at the time, I had just gotten in an argument with my mother about it and I needed to vent.
I also asked her what she thought of interracial dating and she said she would date a White guy and that all that matters to her is how the guy treats her. I just hope she didn’t say that because she felt pressured.
I didn’t mean to make my advisor feel uncomfortable. I don’t think she felt uncomfortable, maybe just a little shocked.
So, when I was off for Christmas break last year (Winter 2008), her and I talked more just about interests, movies and music. She would reply back and stuff.
I asked her if I was interfering with her work and she said I wasn’t.
So anyway, when I went back to school for Spring registration, I noticed her eyes had looked terrible and she looked kind of depressed.
Maybe I was bother her after all?
So as a result, I stopped emailing her because I didn’t realize how I was making her feel. It’s been over a year since I’ve emailed her now.
I still think she seems like a nice person, she says hi to me whenever she sees me at school. She’s like, "Hi!" in kind of a high, flirty(however you describe that) tone.
The scary thing was though, I remember when I went to her office for Spring registration, there was a campus security guard present in the office. I just hope he wasn’t there because of me!
The funny thing is too, I went on Facebook and I realize she has a Facebook page. I looked on the pages that she’s a fan of and I saw a page for a place that teaches POLE DANCING!!
You believe that?
Well technically, they teach other aerobics and stuff but I still thought it was funny and kind of sexy.
So what do you guys think? Was I a bad person or creeper for emailing her so much?
If she says hi to me at school, I’ll say hi back. But I’m afraid to start a conversation with her out of fear making her feel uncomfortable.
I also told her that I prefer to date Black women.
I don’t feel like that so much anymore though.
I’m still attracted to some Black women but I like all women really.
I notice if she’s with one of her friends, she doesn’t talk to me as much.
But she talks to me when she’s alone.
I also remember onetime I saw her in the student center and she waved to me nervously. This was last year.
I walked through the student center and I realized I had been walking the wrong way so I had walked back the way I came. I heard her say in a low voice, "Why did he come through twice?"

Does my girlfriend want to dump me?
My girlfriend and I have been together for almost 5 year in about 13 days. Lately she hasn’t be happy about anything that I do. She doesn’t eat my cooking, on the weekends when I am home she wakes up and doesn’t eat until 1 or 2 pm. She wont make me breakfast ever, I made her breakfast in bed and she didn’t eat it. She says she wont make me breakfast because she doesn’t eat breakfast. She is always yelling at me, and when I ask her what is wrong she cant tell me without yelling at me and crying.
I feel like she wants to dump me, but she doesn’t want say it. Even her dog has been acting strange, the dog wont come around me, when I give dog a command it doesn’t listen. My girlfriend wont talk to me, and when she does shes taking shots at me. She recently just quit smoking pot after 17 years, I told her that she should consider stopping, she lost her job 2 years ago, and she hasn’t tried to get a new job since, all she was doing was sitting at home watching tv eating and complaining about how bored she was. Since then shes turned down 6 job offers…because she wasn’t sure if she wanted the job. She has repeatedly told me its my fault that shes not happy because she cant go out and smoke weed with her friends. Everyday shes increasingly worse and mean to me. She even went out a week ago, and stayed at a hotel because she said she needed space. Did I do something wrong?
Funny enough that none of her friends she used to smoke with call her anymore because shes not smoking. She wants to have kids, but she doesn’t want stop smoking pot….I love her and I want good things for her, but lately its like I’ve become her punching bag. She stays at home all day while I work. Occasionally what she calls is a slip and she goes to get high. She said she isn’t sure she should have stopped smoking weed because she doesn’t think that I’m worth it. Is she getting ready to cut me lose?

I’m afraid so… Maybe you should let her smoke pot since she’s pretty much psychologically addicted to it. As much as it hurts, it sounds like she loves the pot more than she loves you.

I dont know if she is getting ready to cut you loose, but I know you need to be getting ready to cut her loose! I understand and get that you love her..and Love is such a powerful thing. When in love we tend to be viewing life in rose colored glasses..and not actually seeing the bigger picture for what it is….She must help herself before you can help her and even though you’ve tried! It’s time to apply some tough love….Once your gone, trust she will miss you..and maybe that is what’s it going to take for her to straightn up….You seem like awesome person and an awesome person derserves to be with someone on there level! Sounds as though she is just depressed and you can only sane someone that wants to be saved!

I think she’s feeling like you were the cause of her losing her "friends" and is thus venting her anger on you . .. .. .
what I would suggest you do is bring her out more often; let her meet new people, take up a healthy hobby, etc.
I don’t think she actually really wants to end this - she’s probably just feeling lousy about herself and projecting on you
